•  Ohio has the 11th highest smoking rate in the country.
•  36,800 kids become new daily smokers each year in Ohio.

The Drug-Free Healthy Communities Coalition meets quarterly and includes representatives from Adams, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Fayette, Greene, Madison, Miami, Highland and Warren counties. 

The purpose of the coalition is to establish and strengthen collaboration to support the efforts of working to prevent and reduce substance use (tobacco, illegal/prescription drugs, alcohol, etc.).  New members are always welcome.
