The Safe Communities grant
continues to address unintentional injuries that are related to traffic
crashes. Seat belt usage in The Health Department is
partnering with the Safe Communities partners with the local Ohio State
Patrol post and all local law enforcement agencies, and the Coalition is
always seeking new resources and contacts to be part of not only the
Coalition, but also for various projects taken on by the Coalition.
Safe Communities can be found at many local festivals, as well as the
Greene County Fair promoting traffic safety including but not limited to
motorcycle safety, restraint use, distracted/impaired/aggressive
driving, rural driving and senior adult driving skills.
