DEVELOPMENT

The mission of the Development Division is to generate funding opportunities to supplement financial resources for existing and new programs for the Health District. The Greene County Combined Health District and the Greene Community Health Foundation, which is the fundraising entity of the Health District, receive donations annually. The funding sources for these contributions include: Grants; Special Fundraising Events; Gifts from Corporations, Foundations, Businesses and Individuals (including Health District employees), and Gifts-In-Kind. It is through the generosity of many donors that the Health District continues to meet the needs of Greene County residents. Annual events that the Development Division organizes include the Duck Race, the Mitten Tree Project, the Holiday Project, Truck Pull, Bid for Kids, Car Show and Rusty's Ride.
