Greene County Combined Health District Celebrates

National Children’s Dental Health Month

(XENIA, OH)  The Greene County Combined Health District (GCCHD) is celebrating National Children’s Dental Health Month this February by reminding Greene County residents of the importance of getting regular dental care by visiting a dentist twice a year.

“Dental care and access to dental care remains the number one (#1) unmet health care need of Ohio’s children,” said GCCHD dentist Dr. Wanda Stewart.  “Some jurisdictions in Greene County do not have fluoridated water and this adds to the problem.  To address this important health issue, GCCHD is proud to provide comprehensive dental care and preventive dental health education to the children (and adults) of Greene County.”

The dental clinic at GCCHD is open Monday – Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.  It is open to all children and adults ages 3 and up.  Appointments are needed.

Services available include:

GCCHD accepts Medicaid and some insurance.  All fees are based on a sliding-fee scale.  No one will be denied service due to inability to pay.  To schedule an appointment, please call (937) 374-5655.
