Greene County Combined Health District Hosts Final stand Event

(Xenia, OH) Ohio stand teams from Clark, Clinton, Greene and Fayette Counties will meet on Friday, May 16, 2008 from 5:00 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. at Panera Bread on Fairfield Road, Beavercreek, Ohio, to commemorate the final stand event for the current grant period. Funding for stand teams came from the former Ohio Tobacco Prevention Foundation (OTPF). This event will recognize youth who have participated in numerous outreach events throughout the community educating others on the dangers of tobacco use.

Here are two numbers to remember: 52/57 –

52 Ohioans die every day from tobacco related diseases and

57 Ohio youths become tobacco users every day.
