Greene County Combined Health District Announces
2007 Training Schedule for the Greene County Medical Reserve Corps (MRC)
(XENIA, OH) Trainings will be held for persons interested in volunteering for the Greene County Medical Reserve Corps, Citizens Corps programs and other citizens required to take the training. The trainings meet some of the requirements to be eligible to become an 'active' volunteer in both the
Citizen's Corp and the Medical Reserve Corps.

The Greene County MRC volunteers include medical professionals and non-medical persons. The Greene County MRC is a volunteer organization that is coordinated by the Greene County Combined Health District (GCCHD) in partnership with the Greene County Emergency Management Agency. The role of the MRC is to provide medical support to the community during emergencies. MRC volunteers have agreed to prepare for and assist with public health emergencies. These volunteers know that their efforts will help improve the lives of those they are serving.
