Introductory Training for the Greene County Medical Reserve Corps
An Introduction
to Medical Reserve Corps Training will
be conducted at the Menapace Center’s Frankenfield Auditorium at the Greene
Memorial Hospital, 1141 Monroe Dr., Xenia on Thursday October 20, 2005 from 4:30
to 7:00 p.m.
A box dinner
will be provided.
This
training is for new volunteers who have not yet had the introductory course. To
register for this free training, please call Carolyn Blair at (937) 374-5636. If
volunteers who have had the introductory course would like to take the
train-the-trainer course, please contact Donald Brannen, the Medical
Reserve Corps (MRC) Coordinator at (937)
374-5660.
The
Greene County MRC volunteers include medical professionals and non-medical
persons. The Greene County MRC is a volunteer organization that is coordinated
by the Greene County Combined Health District (GCCHD) in partnership with the
Greene County Emergency Management Agency. The role of the MRC is to provide
medical support to the community during emergencies.
