Greene
County Combined Health District’s Annual Adopt A Healthy Duck Fundraiser to be
held at a new location
during Clifton Days September 23 – 25, 2005
(XENIA,
OH) The Greene County Combined Health District’s annual fundraiser “Adopt A
Healthy Duck” will take place during Clifton Days September 23rd
– 25th.
Race
registration is $5 per duck and forms are available at the Health District
Office located at 360 Wilson Drive, Xenia, Clifton Mill, and at the Health
District Booth during Clifton Days.
The
Duck Race will take place at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 25th at
Clifton Mill. Clifton Mill is the major sponsor of the event. The top five
prizes include: First Place $500 cash; Second place $250 Triple A Travel
Certificate donated by Triple A, Beavercreek; Third Place 19” Color TV donated
by Key Chrysler, Xenia; Fourth Place a gas grill donated by K-Mart, Xenia; and a
$100 gift certificate from Dick’s Sporting Goods donated by McColaugh Funeral
Home, Xenia.
All
proceeds from the Duck Race provide prescriptions, medical services and equipment for children in need in Greene County.
