GREENE COUNTY COMBINED HEALTH DISTRICT WILL OFFER BLOOD 
LEAD TESTING FOR CHILDREN AT THE GREENE COUNTY FAIR

(Xenia, OH) Greene County Combined Health District (GCCHD) will offer blood lead testing for Greene County Children during the Greene County Fair.  Blood lead tests will be given to children ages 12 months to six years, on Friday, August 5th from 12:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., and Saturday, August 6th from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.

Ohio has one of the highest numbers of lead poisoned children in the country.  Young children (infants to age six) are most at risk for lead poisoning.

Look for GCCHD’s booth at the fair for information on lead poisoning and lead testing.
