Health District Sponsors
7th Annual “Pull for the Kids”
(Xenia,
OH) Greene County Combined Health District and the Greene Community Health
Foundation will hold is 6th Annual “Pull for the Kids” on Saturday, July 9th
at the Greene County Fairgrounds.
This
year’s event will feature two pulling events scheduled for the day. Starting at
9:00 a.m. the Antique Tractor Pull will feature: Class A Rules 1939 and older,
Classes A&B 3500#, 4500#, 5500# and 6500# "run what you brung"; and Class
B Rules 1940 to 1960, Classes A&B 6500#, 7500#, and 8500#.
Starting at 5:00 p.m., The Buckeye Modified Tractor Pulling Association will
feature six classes that include: 5800# Economy Modified Tractors - Open; 6200#
4x4 Modified Trucks – No Blowers; 6200# Buckeye Modified 2WD Trucks-500CI (BMTPA
Rules); 6500# Modified Tractors (BMTPA Rules); 9500# Super Stock and/or Open;
10,000# Pro Stock Tractors; Stock 4x4 Street Trucks (Gas or Diesel) 6000#; and
Open 4x4 Trucks (Gas or Diesel) 8000#.
Admission for the day is $5.00 for adults and children 10 and under are
admitted free.
The
proceeds from this event will benefit the Children’s Prescription Fund at the
health district.
