  Greene County Combined Health District
to Provide Flu Immunizations during January
for Greene County Adults and Children

 (Xenia, OH) The Greene County Combined Health District will be administering flu immunizations in January for Greene County residents only.

 Immunizations will be given to adult’s age 50 and older and adults 18 and older who have a chronic illness and bring a doctor’s statement or any adult who has contact with a high risk person.

 Additionally, children’s vaccine will be available for the following age groups: infants 6 – 23 months; children, ages 24 months to 18 years, who are on long term aspirin therapy or have a chronic health condition (must provide a physician’s note); and children, ages 24 months to 18 years, who are household contacts of infants 0  - 6 months of age. Children must bring a shot record.

 Flu shots will be provided during the Immunization Clinic on Tuesday, January 11th, January 18th and January 25th at the Health District office located at 360 Wilson Drive, Xenia beginning at 8:00 a.m.

 The cost of the flu immunization is $14.00 for adults and children. Medicaid and Medicare Part B accepted. The card must be presented at the time of service.
