Greene County Combined Health District’s

Employees Complete Fitness Program

Greene County Combined Health District’s employees kicked-off their own fitness program Motion Promotion in May.

Twenty-seven employees completed the program by spending time walking, swimming, running, jogging, biking and various other physical activities. A total of  33,134 motion promotion miles were accumulated. Each participant received a Motion Promotion t-shirt  for their efforts. The t-shirts were provided by GCCHD’s Employee Incentive Committee.

Greene County Health Commissioner, Mark McDonnell was also a participant in the program and stated, “I think the GCCHD employees are a great example of people who care about their health.  A recent Greene County Community Health Assessment indicated that Greene County residents are sedentary and get little, if any physical activity. I am proud of my staff’s initiative and determination.”
