 Greene County Combined Health District’s Annual Adopt A Healthy Duck Fundraiser during Xenia Old Fashioned Days September 13 – 15,2002

 The Greene County Combined Health District’s annual fundraiser “Adopt A Healthy Duck” will take place during Xenia Old Fashioned Days September 13th – 15th.

 Race registration is $5 per duck and forms are available at the Health District Office located at 360 Wilson Drive, Xenia. Registration forms are also available at Xenia branches of Fifth Third Bank, Security Bank, Sky Bank, K-Mart, Xenia, Miller’s Hallmark, Xenia, and at the Health District Booth during Xenia Old Fashioned Days.

 The Duck Race will take place at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15th at Shawnee Park in Xenia. The top five prizes include: First Place $500 cash; Second place $250 Triple A Travel Certificate donated by Triple A, Beavercreek; Third Place 19” Color TV donated by Key Chrysler, Xenia; Fourth Place Char Broil Gas Grill donated by Alan Besco Cars and Trucks, and K-Mart, Xenia; and Fifth Place $100 Gift Certificate for Dick’s Sporting Goods donated by McColaugh Funeral Home, Xenia.

 All proceeds from the Duck Race provide prescriptions and medical equipment for children in need in Greene County.
