Plan Review Application for new facility

Eligibility: All public swimming pools, public spas, and special use pools in Greene County

Purpose: To ensure that all public swimming pools, public spas, and special use pools in Greene County are operated in accordance with the Ohio Public Swimming Pool, Public Spa, and Special Use Pool Rules and are safe and free from physical and water related hazards.

Description: The Environmental Health Division performs regular inspections of all licensed public swimming pools, public spas, and special use pools in Greene County  

Services include:

• Water chemistry analysis of disinfectant levels, pH, alkalinity, total dissolved solids and cyanuric acid.
• Inspection of physical facilities and required safety equipment.
• Monitoring flow rate of the circulation system.
• Verification of water chemistry monitoring and completed water chemistry records required of the pool or spa operator
