 HOW DO I FILE A COMPLAINT WITH THE HEALTH DISTRICT?

 To register or file a complaint you must know the address of the property or the location of the complaint and be able to give specific information about the complaint. Please submit the complaint form to the Health District or contact the office at 937-374-5606 or 1-866-858-3588. The complaint will be investigated by the Environmental Staff.

 I FOLLOWED A TRASH TRUCK THAT APPEARED TO BE LEAKING OR WAS NOT IN GOOD SHAPE, WHAT DO I DO?

 Please submit the complaint form to the Health District or contact the office at 937-374-5606 or 1-866-858-3588. You must be able to list the company name of the trash truck and the location of the complaint. The complaint will be investigated by the Environmental Staff.

 I WANT TO FILL IN MY LOT, WHAT STEPS DO I NEED TO TAKE?

 Only clean hard fill material may be used to fill in a low area on your land. Please refer to the clean hard fill fact sheet for more information. Land area that is within the 100 year flood plain cannot be filled or disturbed. Contact the Greene County Flood Plain Administrator, Al Kuzma, at 937-562-7450 if you want to fill in an area prone to flooding or near a stream or creek. Also contact your local Zoning Inspector to determine if there are local regulations about filling in low areas.
