Greene County Combined Health District
to host the
Tobacco-Free Healthy Communities Coalition
The Greene
County Combined Health District will be hosting the newly formed Tobacco-Free
Healthy Communities Coalition on Monday, January 13, 2003 starting at 10:00
a.m., at 360 Wilson Drive, Xenia. This
meeting is open to anyone who lives or works in Greene, Clinton, Fayette, and
Warren Counties, and the cities of Hamilton and Middletown. People interested in
the fight against tobacco use are welcome and encourage to attend.
The
Tobacco-Free Healthy Communities Coalition is forming as a result of a grant
received from the Ohio Use and Prevention Control Foundation. The purpose of the
grant is to reduce tobacco use among youth, adults, pregnant women and minority
populations.
The
Coalition will meet quarterly and sub-committees will meet monthly.
